President’s Message (January 2010)

Dear BSNA Family:

The current environment of negative campaigns against Hindus and particularly Brahmans all over the world conveys the message to us that we have to rise to the challenge and focus on the goal of protecting and propagating Vedic values (Sanatan Dharma). As President of BSNA, my mission will be to preserve and propagate Vedic values among communities aligned with the mission of BSNA with the goal of serving humanity. I will promote Brahman unity in general, and enthusiasm among youth to get them involved in BSNA to make the organization a progressive, active, resourceful and value oriented organization. Our youth are our future.

We need your active support in achieving the following goals for the community in coming years:

  • Organizational growth by unity

  • Inclusiveness of Brahmans speaking different languages

  • Increase the visibility of BSNA in the mainstream community

  • Fundraising for scholarship and increasing the involvement of youth

  • Mentoring and guidance of youth

  • Matrimonial services - develop and make them user-friendly

  • Improve communication via different means to connect you with the people

  • Establish think tanks

  • Establish a BSNA community center

  • Need based financial support to BSNA members

We welcome suggestions, constructive critiques, identifying problems/concerns and suggesting solutions. I would love to hear from you.

An invitation from 2010 Convention Director (Dated: February 1, 2010)

If you have tried to make new members or asked members to come for meetings or to the Annual Conventions, you must have faced the same question as I have, what BSNA is for and what can it do for me or for anyone else. I have written the answer, as I see it. If you like the answer, please send it to your members and others to become members and come to our Convention in July.

BSNA is a non-profit, non-political, educational, religious and cultural organization. BSNA's purpose is to promote Vedic, traditional, Hindu cultural values among its members and society at large, especially among children, and create a family bond among the like minded people.

It tries to accomplish its goal through organizing social and religious get-together and discussion; encouraging children to form their own groups and discuss their socio-religious problems; by arranging marriageable match for youth; by performing religious rites and ceremonies,  by helping poor children for their education; by helping disaster affected people where-ever they may be, and by organizing and conducting Annual Conventions for forming socio-religious bonds among members and promoting BSNA's religious, cultural and social goals.

Any one who believes in God, Vedas, Hindu literature, peace, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance and service to the society according to his natural liking and he considers himself a Brahman by his nature and karma, regardless of caste, creed or national origin then he is illegible to be a member.

Board of Trustees (BOT) Member of BSNA
